     Babe is shown here at the age of seven as a veteran at the 2005 national speciality. Babe was whelped by Leland and Cindie Waters and is jointly owned and loved by the Waters and the Spohr families. Her first litter was whelped by the Waters. Her second and last litter was whelped at the Spohrs. One of my most chrished moments while sharing her life was when Babe won the brood bitch trophy for the third time at nationals and retired it. When I walk by the trophy in the family room I think of this exceptional bitch and smile. She was both a joy and a blessing in our lives.
    Her most famous child is Liam. A/C Ch Bastion’s Music in the Glen BIS BISS. Her children possess her love of life and her showmanship. Daughter Darcy loves to skakeboard and keeps the Kelly household in a tither. Son Connor (Ch. Bastion’s Pot of Gold) is making his mark in therpy work. Babe died in 2008 from cancer.
