Vanguard’s Comet of Anton, better known as “Pixie”, was whelped on December 30, 1962 and was sired by Ch. Pridzor’s Anton of Buttonoak out of Evan’s Miss Red Velvet. Her offspring were extremely influential in several other kennels. Since her name was Pixie,
some of her get were called - “Pixie’s.....” - such as Pixie’s Imp...- while others carried the kennel names of the owners. Her picture shows Pixie and the Kreutzer’s grandson, David Spague, and was reproduced from Greely’s. An ad in Greely’s at that time written by her
owners stated “although she was not a top Bullmastiff under the Phillips system, she shall remain in first place with her loved ones.”. Pixie produced a dual titlest, and two ROM offspring, as well as two American Canadian Champions.
