We acquired “Triga” when she was 17 months of age, she had finished her Championship at ten months.  I remember her in the classes before she finished as a rather long legged but elegant puppy.  She was a very large bitch. She was a tad long in the back and toed out in the front.  Her topline was not the best.  She was a very “doggy” bitch, a trait that I love in my girls  She was beautifully headed and had a very strong rear, she moved with wonderful reach, drive and power.  She had that beautiful arch of neck that I would like to see more in Bullmastiffs.  She only produced one litter of four, two dogs and two bitches, all of them becoming Champions.  I feel the girls were the better of her produce, one became a specialty Best of Winners and an ROM, the other was a Group winner.  She herself had a long and illustrious show career, and was of only a handful of bitches to win a Specialty.  We lost Triga to cancer (probably of the spleen) two months before her eighth birthday.  Though not the most intelligent, she was a very loving and sweet bitch and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
