“Barney” was a red dog from the first generation of Tailwynde breeding. He was a very sweet, sensitive dog. He was straight in the stifle and light of eye, two of the faults passed to him from his Dam. But he loved to show. He won some Specialties, the Midwest and the 1975 National among them, and he rounded out his show career with an all-breed Best in Show win. He was the number one Bullmastiff in 1975 and 1976. He was owned, loved, and shown by Richard and Pat Watson.
