GCH Maestra’s Uzuri Ambrosia, Zuri, was born on July 16, 2012, out of CH Maestra’s Autumn Gala and GCH Taualaun Tembo. An adorable brindle girl who quickly wormed her way into my heart and life. Zuri was able to be owner handled to her Grand Champion title. But truly, most of the time, Zuri was simply my ultimate companion, bed warmer and cuddle bug.
Zuri and her husband, Jax, GCHB Big Red, This Life is For You, fell in love as puppies and never looked back. He was her one and forever best friend and love. She was the ultimate, dedicated and incredible mother to his two litters of fifteen puppies and to one litter of four with his father, Woody, GCH Hollywood. Her legacy lives on through her children. She can be seen in each and every one of them. Her lovely babies include one Bronze Grand Champion/Top 20 dog, Obi; two Grand Champions, Ari and Goldie, and two Champions, Cece and Zoey. All of her babies are wonderful companions and family members.
Zuri left us on March 22, 2018. She will always be loved and never forgotten by her husband, Jax, her children, her mother in law, Nicole Riesgo and her family and of course by me. I remember, see and miss her everyday in the eyes of her babies. I am so very proud of her accomplishments.
