Tae
By Anne Figueroa
Tae was a wonderful ambassador for the Bullmastiff breed. He had a loving and gentle temperament and loved children, and all of his family and friends. Tae finished his championship with all majors. With limited showing Tae won 4 majors in 6 shows. He was Best of Opposite Sex in Sweeps and Winners Dog at the New York supported entry in 2000. He won 2 Award of Merits at our National Specialties as well as Best Brindle 2 years in a row.
He was also a Multi-group placer in the breed ring. Tae went to Canada and again with limited showing, was the number 5 top dog in Canada in 2003. He was also awarded Top Producing Stud Dog in 2003, 2004, and 2005. We see in his get, the type and substance that Tae was known for. Several of his sons and daughters also inherited his beautiful head piece. Tae has several champion get over seas, Multi-European CH. Artic Wind of Marconia to Antallis (Thor), Multi European Ch. Leatherneck Black Magic Indy, Multi South American Ch. Ishana’s Hobbit’s Shire, to name a few. Tae was a beautiful boy with great substance, a dead level topline and a great square appearance. His head was a cube on a cube with great proportions, full cheeks and wonderful expression. We will always remember Tae for his accomplishments both in the conformation ring and in the stud ring. Tae accomplished all that we could ask of him and more. He was my love, my companion and best of all, my friend. I miss you my big sweet lug.
