By Ed & Andrea AshmanThe one trait Okie passed on to her puppies is temperament. Of course she passed on the qualities we expect a fine bitch should throw. Head, movement, a sound body, absolutely correct. She not only passed her genetic DNA for the second generation she passed it to the third generation. All the children and her grand children have her fine angulation, fine ear set,  great head and strong bone. So far the puppies have shown a propensity to pass all their health clearances. What I would change on her is her bite. She had a trait in her DNA, that would pass on to her progeny, that is undershot and popcorn teeth. lf she had just straight teeth it would be enough for me and if she passed it on genetically to her offspring.
