Taylor
By Michelle McGovernTaylor is the result of a repeat breeding that was done to see if lightening would strike twice and indeed it did! Taylor stood out in the whelping box the day she was born. She was the loudest and most demanding one in her litter. I knew she was going to be a force to be reckoned with from the beginning! She is 24.25” tall and weighs 115lbs when she is in show weight. She is short backed and has a beautiful profile when stacked. She is a clean mover on her down and back and moves just as nicely going around the ring. Although Taylor is the direct result of a total outcross, she is heavily line bred on his dam’s side of the pedigree which has allowed Taylor to produce her type in her progeny. We continue to be impressed with each litter that she has produced. We consistently see sound bodies, type and temperament from Taylor.
Taylor had an impressive show career. She is a multiple specialty winner including Best of Breed at the 2009 National, Brood Bitch and Maturity there as well. She is a Working Group winner and placer. Taylor has won the Top 20 event both the event and people’s choice back to back years and is the only bitch to win the event and take the both titles and in two years consecutively. To date Taylor has produced: Specialty winning get and a National Best of Breed Winner. She produced the first gold grand champion in the breed. She has produced the number one dog in the years 2010 and 2011. Her son won breed at Eukanba 2010 and was the first bullmastiff ever place in the group there to date. He also went BOB at Westminster 2012.
Taylor obtained her ROM status from her first litter of 3 pups. This is an amazing feat unto itself. Taylor has not only gone out and ripped up the show ring but she has had progeny that has gone on to become as impressive as she is.
We are truly blessed to have Taylor here at Highpoint. She has provided us with a lot of proud and breath taking moments both in her career and her progeny!
