Cruz

Cruz stood 26.25 inches at the withers and weighed 136 lbs. He was the culmination of beauty and power. Cruz had a beautiful head piece, nice bite, powerful muscular build with a short back and nice rear. When Cruz moved it was with purpose and grace. Whether in the backyard or Madison Square Garden he had a presence about him and you could not help but take notice. He never demanded attention and never sought out his limelight it just happened to shine down on him like a bright light that was hard to ignore when you were in his presence.

Cruz was a multiple group placer, 2009 Westminster Best of Breed winner, 2008 National AOM recipient, multiple sweepstakes winner and a puppy group winner. He finished his AKC champion going breed over top ranked specials and went on to place in the working group the same day. Although he was cut down in his prime by an acute illness, Cruz was bred to two lovely bitches of merit that have afforded him ROM status. Cruz has passed on his type and upstanding temperament to his get. Although Cruz is the product of a total outcross himself, he is heavily line bred on his dam’s side of the pedigree and this has aided him in being able to produce with limited breeding.

Cruz to date has produced a Working Group Winner, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex at SEBA specialty, Winners Dog, Best Puppy, Best of Winners & Best Puppy in show at the 2010 CRWG show. He also produced the 2010 ABA National Specialty Reserve Winners Dog and 2011CRWG Winners Dog and a Grand Champion. We are looking forward to future litters with Cruz and it eases the ache in our hearts to see his progeny doing so well.
