“Vicki”
Vicki was our pick from a litter of twelve, but was never shown due to her aversion of the ring. Although most have never met her, Vicki will probably be best remembered for escaping the vet clinic while boarded to be bred while we were attending the 2011 ABA National Specialty. Missing in 500 wooded acres for four days while in season, we weren’t sure if Vicki’s litter would be composed of coyotes or bullmastiffs. Fortunately it was the latter, a lovely group of puppies that would be forever referred to as the “coyote litter.”
Vicki earned her ROM when a pup from the second litter – HappyLegs Macgillicuddy – achieved his championship at five years of age, having been returned to us after his owner passed away.
Vicki is perhaps the slowest moving HappyLegs bullmastiff you will ever meet. We adore her for her many quirks, and will be forever thankful she was found after four days of adventure in the woods.
