Emily is a square, moderately-sized bitch with correct angulation and a smooth, powerful gait, a beautiful front, and very dark eyes and pigment. She is the result of a half-brother/half-sister breeding, and is linebred on Ch. Mikell Ranah’s of Leathernek, GROM. She has handily passed her good qualities on to
her kids, and I am seeing beautiful fronts, dark eyes and her sweet expression in her young grandchildren, too. Emily has a very close underbite, but her underjaw is not as wide as we would like and her co-owner, Linda Walton, and I tried to choose studs who would contribute more bone and substance as well as a wider underjaw to their offspring.
Emily finished her championship at the age of 16 months, and has produced puppies who have done well at national specialties; including one class winner and one a class winner/Reserve Winner’s Dog. Emily has always been a bit of a queen in her temperament, and takes to pampering very naturally.
She has a quiet, mischievous personality ... you don’t realize she’s been naughty until it’s too late. She is an expert counter surfer and destroyed a number of television remotes in her younger years. She adores children and in her old age has grown tolerant of all dogs. Emily has been a joy to live with, and Linda and I feel fortunate to have had such a beautiful bitch in our breeding program.
