“Buford” was a member of the third litter produced by CH. Twyceluvd Ult Bikerbabe ELOC. He hit the show circuit when there were very few brindles being shown. At his first show he won Best Puppy In Show. We had a difficult time finishing him because we could not find majors. Thus, the trip to a Delaware Valley Bullmastiff Club specialty weekend and Buford took back to back 5 point majors the first two days to become a champion. Unfortunately at our home Buford took back seat to another male and was shown only on special occasions. When the other male was retired Buford came back out and hit the show ring with a huge impact. At 6 years of age he finished his Grand Championship with little effort and continued to be shown that year winning numerous Best of Breeds. At 7 years of age Buford took a Group 1 the first day of a 4 day circuit and finished in the Group ribbons the next 3 days. At the National Specialty that year Buford made it to the last cut in breed competition. Shortly afterwards Buford was retired and neutered. He sired 4 beautiful litters of which one son became Best Veteran Sweepstakes and Veteran Dog Winner at the 2014 National Specialty. Most of his get were sold to wonderful pet homes. On April 21, 2015, he succumbed to osteoscarcoma and mass cell tumor cancers. “Buford” will always be a wonderful special part of ELOC Bullmastiffs. He was a great comic relief teasing other males in his dog family without any aggression toward them, just good fun.
