Ashlock Bullmastiffs is a family affair, included are Renee Aldrich, Brooke Breuel (Niece) and Christa Deines (Daughter). Sunny was the beginning to the family involvement, as she was purchased to be a future dam of Ashlock Bullmastiffs, to be Brooke’s first show dog and to be Brooke’s Junior Showmanship dog. Sunny was finished owner handled by Brooke and Renee. She began her show career at 6 months and 1 day old with a 5 point major. Sunny was structurally amazing and very sound, which she has past down through the generations. Her structure and soundness can be seen in the awesome structure and health of her offspring. Her granddaughter, Ch. Ashlocks Mesa Verde is a third generation OFA Prelim of Excellent. Sunny is one of, if not the best brood bitch we will probably have at Ashlock Bullmastiffs. She has
two sons and currently two grandsons (with more generations on the way) who are all or were top Bullmastiffs during their show careers and most of which are multiple specialty winners. Sunny was mid to low standard in size, yet very well balanced in all areas. She has proven that moderate does produce mass. If I could have changed one thing about Sunny it would have been width of underjaw.
