By Lisa M. Heffner, Dur-Anya Bullmastiffs“Abby” is out of two “Greats”, Aria and Beef, she had no choice but to be special. She is my first homebred Group Placing, Specialty Winning, Ranked dog. However, she is so much more than that………..she is a dog who sleeps on my pillow each night, snores REAL loud, and has the Princess Tude’ all dialed in! I got her CD in 3 straight trials with ease and wonderful scores. We worked on her CDX, however, the thought of putting a dumbbell in her mouth appalled her. So we did no more obedience with her.
She has very low flight drive, and has moderate defense drive. She is not keen about other dogs in her face, however, certainly in control in all settings. She has a high level of energy and has passed this on to ALL her children.
She has a dead level topline, with longer than tall, wonderful angles front and read and has a stunning front end assembly with GREAT width, shoulder lay, and depth. She is about ¼” under with snaggled incisors, and has moderate pigment. She is a very clear coat fawn and has thrown this beautiful color to many of her get.
She was bred only twice; once to: Ladybug Shastid Chickmagnet, OFA, PH…”Hank” and then second time to: MBISS A/C Ch. Dur-Anya’s Nitesneak Stonebull, CDX, A/C CD, CGC, CROM, OFA…”Nate”.
“Abby” will remain a constant companion to us here, and has deserved the role of leader of the house.
