“Fanny” was special - she combined sparkle, spunk and pizzazz with all her other assets. She was an excellent mother, family companion and best friend. She along with “Dunnit” (Stonykill’s Red Devil Dunnit) were our foundation - we have always felt extremely fortunate to be blessed with such a magnificent “beginning”. She was not only exquisite conformation but also great temperament. She had elegence, tight cat paws, and excellent ear-set, tail-set, eye-shape, which she passed to ALL her offspring. Only occasionally did we see her “problem teeth” crop up. Our only regret is that many of her offspring were unfortunately NOT shown to Championship - and there were many who would have
finished. Fanny’s health was superior, and never sick except 24 hours prior to her death... and then the only indication was a loss of appetite. She died in her sleep at 9-1/2 years of age. No autopsy was performed. In 1985 she had a malignant breast tumor removed. She was born on January 25, 1981 and died on October 10, 1990.
     Fanny absolutely loved being a mother, as often to us as well. Her color was that of a fawn brindle, height was 24” and adult weight was 115 pounds. Her strengths were excellent conformation, pigment, angulation, balance, beautiful straight front and superior rear.... Fanny was not large in size but she was in “heart”.
