Tune is from the first litter sired by our Primo, MBISS AM/CAN CH Tru Grit Muscle Mayhem RN, by Danier's She's a Canadian Babe. From a litter of 12 puppies, Tune established herself as the boss from birth.
She finished her Championship quickly with a 3pt major under Judith Goodin from BBE, a 5pt major under Barbara Alderman from 12-18 and her finishing major, 4pts under Daryl Vice again from BBE.
Tune is one of my most correct Bullmastiffs, fiercely loyal, extremely smart, always working, patrolling, tremendous protector of our property, and the guardian of my spot on the couch. I cannot imagine my life without this exceptional girl.
Conformationally Tune possesses lovely balance, matched angulation, a beautiful topline with lovely reach of neck, a short back with good spring of rib, jet black pigment with a dark eye. What she lacks in head piece she makes up for in stellar, purposeful movement, with a side gait to die for.
Tune produced me two litters. the first by CH Beahive's Tsumo from the Edge, resulted in 6 lovely puppies (5 males 1 female), of the 6, two achieved champion status, Piper and Spanky. Her second litter, out of her half brother Blaine, MBIS/MBISS GCH dal Primo Magic Moment CGC, produced the best dal Primo litter to date, 5 puppies (4 males, 1 female) resulting in 4 champion dogs, Seven, Ronin, Joker and Envy. Her only two daughters, Piper and Envy both reside here at dal Primo with their brother Seven.
Tune not only produced nearly all of her strengths and very few of her weaknesses making her exactly what I hoped for in a brood bitch, she consistently passed on wonderful temperaments and excellent health. Tune herself was OFA Good Prelimed hips and clear elbows, and her heart was doppler echo cleared at nearly six years, (Feb - 2013).
My life has forever changed from knowing and loving Tune, she is the foundation bitch for the dal Primo program and I will be forever grateful for what she has given back to me, our household and the breed.
