Heather was imported from England. I had seen a number of dogs bred by her breeder and was quite impressed with their sound movement, longevity, outgoing nature, good bites, handsome clean heads and bodies, and the fact that the bitches of this line were free whelpers. She arrived after a long flight, happy and ready to play and that is the way she stayed all her life. She definitely thought of herself as #1 around our place with the other dogs but  she was the most marvelous dog with people and especially little babies. Heather finished her championship with a small interruption before her last point to whelp a litter. The breeding was actually her idea. I had planned on waiting six more months. Never knew a bitch that   was breedable on her 6th day of heat before. I can’t say I regret it as the litter was outstanding. Losing her so early was totally unexpected. She gave her all in everything she did and I will be forever grateful to have had her in my  life
