“Loretta” was one of twelve puppies out of Ch. Leatherneck Dream Girl C.G.C. ROM and Ch. Leatherneck’s Grizzly, BIS, ROM. She stood out immediately in the whelping box with her light lemon fawn color and black mask and eyes. Herintelligent expression and precocity made her the pick of the litter. She is extremely friendly to all people and creatures and has the prettiest face of any bullmastiff I have ever seen. Loretta is 23 inches and 105 pounds, very blocky with a short wide muzzle and slightly undershot level bite. Her movement is flawless and she always stands four square. Her fault would be a slight dip in the topline. She loved to show and earned her championship quite easily. Her first breeding to Ch. Leatherneck’s
Bit of HappyLegs, BIS, ROM resulted in a free whelped gorgeous litter of eight. She was a perfect mother, never needing help of any kind. In fact, Loretta has been a surrogate mother several times lending a much needed “clean-up” service. Subsequent breedings have not been successful however, Loretta achieved
her ROM status with this consistently typey litter with five champions. Loretta remains my constant companion and a very active member of our large household.
