Tommy was a beautifully put together dog that moved effortlessly and true. Very affectionate and
congenial, Tommy loved the attention of being in the show ring, and was always “on”. He was the
consummate show dog. In the short period of time that Tommy was specialed, he was a consistent
Breed winner and placed regularly in the group. Our T- T Man was #3 in the country at one point.
To Bill and I, he was the son who did well in school, scored high on his IQ test, excelled at sports, and
brought home the trophies.
In the middle of the standard, Tommy was 26 inches at the shoulder, compact, and substantial.
Type, top line, excellent pigment, nice head piece, strong wide under jaw, good rear ends, correct tail
set, movement, and of course his wonderful cerebral personality are some of the things we have seen
consistently in the puppies he has sired. Tommy was not a couch potato, and most of his get are very
bright outgoing animals that love people, and are up for anything. We are very proud of the confirmation
titles, as well as all the working titles Tommy’s get have achieved.
Tommy was the pick puppy from our breeding of “Bette” x “Sunny”. Six (6) puppies from this
litter became champions, and went on to become the foundation of our breeding program. Seeing something of Tommy in his offspring is truly a breeder’s delight. Although there is only a limited amount
of frozen semen available from Tom, we take heart in knowing that the potential still exists for a few
more quality generations of his get.
Living with Tommy was a privilege. He passed at 10+ and is buried here at our new home on Bully Mountain.
