Ch Bramstoke's days of flight crom
Daisy was one of those things that happen in your life that make you believe in fate. She was one of five in a litter from Ch.Bastion’s Ragtime “Lyric” and my boy “Dallas”Am.Can. Ch.Bramstoke’s Crimson Star. Three different homes had been lined up topurchase Daisy and all three fell through. After the last one I decided that maybe I was destined to keep her. That decision has been the turning point for the quality ofwonderful bullmastiffs I have in my home. She quickly finished her Canadian Championship and was Best of Winners at theDelaware Valley Bullmastiff Specialty in Harrisburg and won her first 5 point major.Although not a big fan of the show world, her true calling came as a result of her wonderful calm temperament and her innate ability to know who needed her and when. She obtained her RA, RN and CD and was Highest Scoring Bullmastiff in the OntarioRegional Bullmastiff Specialty. She also obtained her Therapy Dog
International title and set about her true calling.Daisy was the resident reading dog at the local public school and even had her own corner “Daisy’s corner” where behavioral children took times out to sit and calmly readto her. She laid patiently with their heads on her chest and listened tirelessly to the stories. She helped children who were terrified of dogs, come to appreciate her soothing ways.
Daisy also visited approximately 60 seniors every Tuesday. She knew who kept the treats for her in their bedside tables and sat beside the wheelchairs andbeds as slow feeble hands reached for the warmth and comfort of her touch. Apart from being a true ambassador for the breed, Daisy was the epitome of a patientmother to her two litters. Each litter has produced a Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show winner and most importantly she has passed on her wonderful temperment.
