I don't think I can sum up my journey with David in only a few paragraphs but i will try.  He was my only boy born in the litter but regardless he was the keeper.  His chubby little butt and relaxed demeanour made him such an easy puppy to love.  He started out his show career by becoming Canada Top working dog puppy and garnered himself 10 Best Puppy in Shows winning many adult group placements.    As an adult David and I systematically worked off many things that were lifelong goals and dreams .  We ventured to New York City and worked together on the red carpet to earn the Select Dog status.  David campaigned for one year in Canada and was one of the Top working dogs in the country winning 11  specialty and all breed best in shows.  The highlight for us thought was winning the American National Specialty and joining the ranks of all the other great dogs to go before us.  Being an owner handler and breeder is one thing but to be on the end of your best friend lead and see him give everything he has for you and working  side by side is the greatest joy of all.  Seeing Davids progeny go forward in breeding programs and in the show ring is such a great testament to him,  I look forward to showing David as a veteran and having many more wonderful memories with one of the best dogs I have ever owned or bred.
