Ch. Blackslate’s What’s Up DOX is red with exceptional black pigmentation on her mask and ears. In her prime, she was 24 1/2 inches at the shoulder and weighed approximately 110 pounds (in her golden years the latter figure has exculated somewhat). “C-Z” was handled to her championship by her co-owner Meaghan Walsh when both were mere children. This took some skill because it was hard to overlook her narrow, undershot jaw. Fortunately C-Z’s underjaw did not prove too much of a distraction in the show ring and her puppies did not inherit it. Her compact body and otherwise very pretty head were usually rewarded by the judges. She
was a wonderful mother to her puppies and to puppies from other litters. She is happy to live in the shadow of her better known and more successful litter mates since her preference is to be at home catching snacks in the kitchen (she is worthy of a golden glove award) or relaxing on the couch.
