Ch. Blackslate’s Moth was the first Bullmastiff we owned. She was born on July 20, 1981. Little did we know what a change she would bring in our lives. “Moth” lived in our home as our house baby until the time of her death in April of 1991. She was always the perfect lady of the house. She was fawn with a dark black mask and ears. A very “doggie” looking bitch. We owe it all to her for starting us in this wonderful breed. Moth did not have a correct muzzle,  although wide, her flews were very long. She had a weak topline and needed a little more leg and read angulation.
