Corky was the strong silent type with a deep love for his human family. He was my house and guard dog. He stood at 26 inches and was 130 pounds of hard muscle. As far as he was concerned the sun rose and set on me. I never told him otherwise. He finished quickly with honors including winners dog at the SW Speciality out of bred by. That was a real treat for me. His stable intelligent temperment is seen in his kids with “Sting” (CH T-Boldt’s Sting Ray Fastback ) being one of the most nortorious with his gardening and reading skills. His daughters have been lynch pins in both my breeding program with his daughter, “Sally” who is one of our house dogs and in Sherry Boldt’s program with her beautiful girl “CC”. His daughter “T-Bird” has dazzled many with her performance in the working rings.
Whenever I used Corky in my breeding program it was because he always improved two things, hips and heads. Many of our friends referred to him as our best kept secret. We lost Corky late in 2009. In one week we went from having a vibrant fit dog to having to let him go due to an aggresive brain tumor. I cried and cried.
