     When Maud (A/C Ch. Bastion’s Standing Ovation C.D.) got too old to work in obedience anymore I felt that I would never have a bitch of her talent again.. Her granddaughter Lady is every bit her equal if not more so. Lady is a top of the standard girl with exceptional side gait, topline, front and rear but also possessing a horrid bite. She was line bred to a half brother (A/C Ch. Bastion’s Celebration Time ROM BIS BISS) producing wonderful working talent and conformationally winning offspring. Magnum
improved her bite a thousand fold and we had a best in futurity son, Colt (Davis) . A friend of ours, Bill Simonton owns Lady with us and deserves all the credit for her working title. She was breeder/owner handled to her conformation title by myself with a five and two four point majors. This is a girl I am quite proud of. Her prelim on ofa is excellent and she is normal thyoid. Her son McCloud now carrys 7 working and conformation titles. Lady left us due to cancer this year. She spent her life in the service of others and was the hands and feet for Jeannine Simonton until we lost Lady due to lung cancer.
