     I acquired Jill from breeder, Helene Nietsch, Banstock Bullmastiffs, after I was attracted to Jill’s sire, BIS BISS Ch. Banstock Captain Jack. Jack was breed to a daughter of Am/Can. Ch. Onan of Knatchbull, who goes back to my dog Ch. Badnuff’s Warrior of TruGrit (Conan). With Jack and Onan’s outstanding tempera-ment and clean rear action, Diane and I took the trip to Connecticut when the litter was 7 weeks old. My philosophy is to breed dogs with both sound temperament and bodies so that they can do the job they were bred to do and be trusted companions and outstanding show dogs. Looking for a future mate for my Rudy (Ch. TruGrit’s Rudy G. of Anthracite), when I first saw Jill I knew I found what I was looking for. Jill was a large outgoing puppy with beautiful pigment. As she matured to over 25inches, she became the perfect compliment for Rudy with his outstanding rear, movement and topline. Jill was never shown because she crossed over in the rear. With her pedigree and Rudy’s, I produced three litters with exceptional quality in each, puppies that absorbed the best of both pedigrees. She is the dam of four champions: a best of breed specialty winner with over 95 entered (now a Canadian Champion and multiple group placer), a littermate sister was a specialty best of winners over 32 bitches, and another sister was best of breed at a specialty weekend show. At this time Jill is a very healthy girl with no health issues.
