“Dilly” was a very typey 23 1/2 inch, 110 pound fawn bitch with a very feisty temperament.  Dilly was another in the Bandog line to have a superb front, deep and wide, beautiful strong pasterns and feet, never a foot out of place.  She had very heavy pigment, a lovely head and expression, good bite, good rear, a balanced bitch. Her weakness was her topline, it was a little soft, but she did not seem to pas this on to her offspring.  Although Dilly was an absolute lover of people, she was dog agressive, which is probably why she had such a great attitude in the show ring.  One of her many wins was WB at an ABA National at OxRidge.  One of her daughters, Ch. Bandog’s Hard Hearted Hannah was a specialty winner and also WB and BOW at an ABA National Specialty. Dilly passed on to her offspring lovely fronts, good heads and sound movement.  Although Dilly naturally whelped her litters, and had a plentiful supply of milk, she had problems with her last litter, required a Caesarean section, and died of complications.
