This dog was owned by Thelma and LeRoy Strade of Palmyra, Missouri. They called him “Junior”. He finished his championship at fifteen months of age. Izetta Wright remembered him as being the house dog of Thelma and LeRoy Strade and that Thelma was quite fond of him. He was of good size and had a head piece that many people really liked. His pigmentation was good, having dark ears and mask. I do not know if he was a true red or a red fawn. He was bred to a Tailwynde’s bitch and within his own kennel to Les Star Gem of Bull Brier (which produced five of his champions). “Junior” also had three champions out of Elsa’s Tigress of Ramp Creek.
