I was lucky enough to obtain Champion Bad’Nuff Calamity Jane as a puppy, from my good friend, Karen Dorsch. She came to our home and we were never the same. “Jane” was a beautifully balanced dog, with good bone, excellent movement, and a personality any showperson would kill for. She always gave her all in the ring, moving with grace and elegance and always acting the professional show dog. Jane accomplished her Championship in a short period of time with Best of Breed wins in her record. Jane only produced two small litters, but from those litters came some truly wonderful dogs. She has multiple Group placing children and grandchildren to her credit. The most wonderful thing about Calamity Jane was her personality and her love for her family. She was easy-going and lived in harmony with the many different animals we have here at Evergreen. You could always count on her to be there to brighten your spirit if you were down and to give love wholeheartedly without asking anything in return. A gentle guardian, keeping her family safe and loved was how Jane is remembered by us.
