“Joey” was a breeder’s dream come true and to have produced him from my first litter was a stroke of unbelievable good fortune. He was born 09-04-86. His importance to me as a stud dog lies in the fact that he was extreme in the best sense of the word - possessing very heavy bone and a large, short muzzled, magnificent head. With all this size he moved beautifully, covering a lot of ground with each stride.
    He was “too much dog” for many all rounder judges but it is precisely this “too much’’ that enabled him to improve bitches needing more head, more bone and size. He has sired many outstanding dogs including Best in Show Ch. Allstar’s Martin Riggs. Joey was a devoted member of our family. He was both loyal and protective but also the ultimate lap dog.
