This is my “soul mate” Bette. At 25 inches and 130 lbs., Bette is a heavy boned substantial red brindle bitch. She finished her championship at just 18 months of age on Father’s Day as a present to Bill, and has been very selectively specialed. Bette was an adorable puppy with a beautifully put together bionic body, straight front, nice movement and a pinhead! We still get a chuckle when people comment on what a gorgeous typey head she has. That second heat made a huge difference.
     With a great vocabulary, Bette is always a willing participant in anything we ask of her. She enjoyed showing, loved agility classes, is at home in the woods on the paths and streams, and is a gentle trustworthy ambassador for the breed. Bette and Sunny made us a gorgeous litter of 9 puppies. All 6 of them shown in 1997 finished before their 2nd birthday.
