The first thing that would strike you about Griffin was his powerfully balanced body. Thesecond thing was his wonderful disposition. He had magnetic Charisma and the extraordinary presence of a self assured Bullmastiff ambassador. Countless times I found myself stopping to watch him as he gaited around his large exercise area with supercharged energy. The conformation ring was an excellent place to observe his powerful reach and drive, his “never let down” enthusiasm. Among Griffin’s many breed, group wins and placements, are Awards of Merit at the 1994 and 1995 National Specialties, BOB at the Greater Piedmont Bullmastiff Fanciers Specialty in 1995, and BOB at the NorthWest Bullmastiff Fanciers Specialty in 1995. Griffin’’soffspring ( including American, Canadian and International Champions) have consistently inherited his stamina, substance, strong topline, well developed brisket and bone.
