My Janey was born 6 years ago in June of 2006. She grew quickly, eating everything that made its way into her bowl, a trait no doubt inherited from her mom, Rosa. (They both still do this, so it’s easy to give vitamins and meds).
I started showing Janey when she was about 7 months old. She took to it well and won several of her classes, despite the “handler” (ME!) making sooo many mistakes it would make you cringe!
Janey has a great head, level bite and very good movement. And above all, she has a great temperament. She loves everyone who comes to the house, but is still a guard dog.
Thanks to all the judges who saw past me and saw the great Bullmastiff specimen that’s known as Janey. And of course thank you to all the pro’s who helped me along the way to getting her finished. VERY Special thanks to my very good friend/advisor/ co-breeder for the past 14 years, Jean Robinson (Janey’s Aunt Jean). We miss her terribly...
Janey has had 4 litters; several went to show homes and became champions. Her last litter, I think, is her most consistent and may very well be the best. Right now, they’re just SUPER CUTE!!! 2 girls and 1 boy (affectionately known as Boy, Light Girl & Dark Girl) were born on August 1, 2012. Jean would be so proud of them.
Janey now has the best job for a Bully; proud, doting stay at home mommy /guardian. Watch for her "Lil’ Hellions" in the show ring next year.
